The Internet is an
amazing place. There is so much to see and learn. My friends and clients know
that I enjoy spending time surfing the net to find sites that capture my interest. Below
are a few places I find interesting.
These are not all photography sites, but also
creativity sites, life enhancing sites and art sites. They are places that I find both fun
and interesting and give me a break from the daily email grind.

interesting and creative. I love her essays especially the one about her mother.
Don’t just view her work, read her writing.
See the word BUY? Need I say more? GREAT prices!! Robert Farber is a world renowned photographer and now an internet genius. His state of the art website is both educational and interesting to professionals and those just interested in photography. As a client of mine you will find we do business quite a bit by email. Here is a site I use to make sure you have received my email. It’s easy, it’s FREE and it’s a great way to be sure your mail has been read.
I am not a "Babies in Flower Pots" kind of artist. But few people know that Anne Geddes has another entire line of work in black and white that is incredible! It is more of her personal view than her commercial view. If you go to this site, check out the Galleries and see some of her beautiful visions of babies and parents. Need I say more? For those that don't know, I give seminars all over the country to photographers. One of my favorite topics is CREATIVITY in all it's forms and roots. This is one site I use to check out for ideas. Books are great. I love them. Love them too much. For those that remember, Paula who worked with me for 16 years moved to San Francisco to live a few years ago. This is the book store where she works. Paula books the writers for book signings and is in charge of the event set up. I check this site out often to see who of my favorite authors is appearing there so maybe she can get me an autographed copy of one of my favorite books! This store is amazing to visit. If you are a book junkie and are ever out there, let me know and I’ll put you in touch with Paula. Speaking of books. Amazon.com where my own book can be bought is another one of my favorite haunts online. During the holidays I do most of my shopping here for music and books. A dear friend of mine and one of the most successful portrait photographers I know. Love those films. Don’t know many photographers that aren’t movie fanatics like me. Especially since my son lives in NYC and works in the film industry, I look for all kinds of movie sites. This is a great independent film site. I am also an art fanatic. Must come from my roots. My uncle was a well known painter and sculptor. This site is an artist I found on the internet and I am saving for one of her paintings. I just love her work! Just for pure fun. I love doing online Jigsaw Puzzles. It’s addicting so be careful. |
